he job entails mostly Greater Montreal area pickups and deliveries, via our secure yard in Laval, but may occasionally require work within an approximately 200 km radius, such as Cornwall, ON or Quebec City, QC
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Local/Regional Driver with Bulk Carriers, you would be responsible for:
- Pick-up of LTL freight
- Delivery of LTL and TL freight
- Shunting trailers in and out of the facility for crossdocking purposes
- Availability for longer trips outside Montreal if required
- Perform and document daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Requirements:
- Class 1A Equivalent License
- Minimum of 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience
- An acceptable driving abstract
- Clean criminal records check
- Previous shunting experience is an asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of HOS regulations
